INDUSTRY ACTIVITY:
1994 - Present --ENSR Consulting and
Engineering, Inc, Houston, General Manager, Environmental
Toxicology Services. Manages a new department combining the consulting
and testing services of two-state, terrestrial toxicology laboratories
in Houston, Texas and Fort Collins, Colorado. Serves the needs of offshore
Gulf operators, waste-water discharge operations, mining companies, and
manufacturers requiring toxicology investigations. Responsible for integrating
operations and for implementing a system of dynamic process improvements
to maximize efficiency and services.
1988 - 1994 --ENSR Consulting and Engineering,
Inc, Houston, Director - Quality Programs. Provided quality
assurance (QA) oversight on numerous multi-million dollar, Superfund projects
involving field implementation, subcontractor selection, performance reviews,
and review of deliverables. Managed company QA program, including subcontractor
screening, management system of documentation, databases, audit functions,
and custom programs.
1986 - 1988 --CORE Laboratories (Div. Western Atlas, Int.), Houston,
Manager, Quality Assurance. Managed QA Department, and developed,
integrated and implemented company quality Control Systems Program for
worldwide network of laboritories serving the international petroleum exploration
and chemicals industries. Designed and directed corporate quality improvement
process and policy manual. Ctreated ongoing quality education program for
employees.
1982 - 1986 --CORE Laboratories International (Div. Western
Atlas, Int.), Singapore, Regional Manager. Directed and managed
operations throughout Asia for multi-discipline analytical laboratory testing
and mud-logging services to the petroleum exploration and production industries.
Improved profitability by more than 15 % of worldwide operations within
two years. Negotiated, set-up and supervised a joint-venture with the People's
Republic of China, the first of which to include both on-shore and off-shore
services.
1979 - 1982 --CORE Laboratories (Div. Western Atlas, Int.), Jakarta,
Coordinator, QC and Training. Directed QC and technical support
for network of regional laboratories. Installed, developed business, trained
staff and directed services tothe international petroleum industry, including
first government laboratory for Indonesian petroleum industry.
Miscellaneous Activities:
On-Call Expert for Prudential Relocation Services (formerly: Moran,
Stahl & Boyer) on cultural issues innbusiness for executives relocating
in South-East Asia.
Technical Advisor for Petronas-Malaysian National Oil Company: Designed
multi-disciplinary laboratory complex, under contract from Core Laboratories.
Various Field Projects involving: geological and rig-site duties in Columbia,
Libya, Papua-New Guinea and the U.S.including duities such as site surveying,
in-situ permeability testing and other laboratory functions.
