SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Mr. Hendrix began his professional career as corporate materials engineer for several Fortune 500 petrochemical companies. This experience, combined with the desire to consult, led to managing the Metallurgical Engineering Department for Law Engineering in Houston, Texas. He subsequently formed The Hendrix Group Inc., and has been providing clients with superior technical support and personalized service, with rapid response.

Mr. Hendrix specializes in preventing, investigating, and solving problems involving mechanical and corrosion-related failures of equipment, components, and products. An important component of Mr. Hendrix's consultation is in helping clients extend equipment life and prevent failures by assisting with materials selection for new processes and new-plant construction. Improving quality processes and equipment reliability through development of fabrication standards and specifications, equipment inspection programs and vendor audits forms a third leg in helping clients reduce capital and maintenance costs. He has consulted in the development of mechanical integrity programs and risk-based inspection procedures for several clients in support of compliance with OSHA's 1910.119, Process Safety Management requirements.

Clients range from Fortune 500 companies in the chemical, refining, oil & gas, and pulp & paper industries, to the insurance/legal community, to companies involved in manufacturing and in providing engineering and construction services. Materials engineering consulting, inspection and testing services are supported by a close network of consulting associates in related engineering disciplines, including mechanical and civil engineering. Recent additions to this network occurred when Mr. Hendrix joined Environmental Litigation Associates (ELA) to provide engineering assistance on leaking storage tanks and related corrosion problems. These associations permit The Hendrix Group to offer a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving, enabling us to provide clients with a broad range of services in engineering and as well as in environmental disciplines, such as: hydrogeology, environmental geology, industrial health and safety, environmental chemistry, bioremediation, and toxicology (including risk assessment and definition), and mining-related services.
