INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITIES:

Mr.Hendrix manages a metallurgical engineering consulting company, consults nationally and internationally, and provides materials engineering and corrosion services. These services focus on the chemical, refining, oil and gas, pulp and paper industries, and insurance and legal communities. Typical consultation services include: inspection, testing, specification and selection of metals, alloys, paints and coatings; root cause failure analysis; problem solving, and investigations of suitability-for-service and remaining life of in-service equipment and components. In addition, Mr. Hendrix supplies expertise with materials selection for corrosive environments and new design applications. He investigates mechanical failures and ambient and elevated temperature corrosion failures.

Mr. Hendrix performs such specialized assistance to clients ranging from equipment manufacturers, insurers and petrochemical companies. On the subjects of corrosion, failures, paints and coatings, equipment selection and performance, and risk-based inspection of process equipment.

Prior to founding The Hendrix Group, Mr. Hendrix was manager of the metallurgical engineering department of Law Engineering, a multi-disciplined consulting company with offices nationwide. His responsibilities at Law included directing and consulting on company wide materials engineering projects, business development, and technical advisor to the department's nondestructive inspection group.

Before joining Law Engineering, Mr. Hendrix held responsible positions in Texaco, Inc.'s metallurgical engineering department at its corporate research facility and with ARCO Chemical Co.'s corporate specialty engineering group. At ARCO, Mr. Hendrix was responsible for failure analysis, corrosion, and materials specifications for their Texas Gulf Coast plants. He also was materials advisor on new plant capital construction, and investigated equipment fabrication and welding problems, audited fabrication shops, and administered ARCO's corporate equipment coatings standard.
