The four-month, evening training course
is designed to be the "boot camp" for the environmental field.
The course provides technical training for those scientists, engineers
and others wishing to establish or improve technical skills in:
- Environmental
Regulations
- Site
Characterizations
- Investigations
- Clean-up
Programs
The course was
designed for individuals who have decided on a career change and
are "refugees" from the oil & gas industry, aerospace industry
and other industries experiencing corporate downsizing and reorganization.
Other highly-motivated individuals have gained substantially from
this course; a college education is a prerequisite.
Almost 400 men

their positions or have found employment in the environmental field,
even under the present uncertainties in Washington, D.C., concerning
the environment.
Topics include:
Environmental Laws & Regulations
Health &d Safety Strategies & Requirements
Environmental Chemistry & Geochemistry
Site Characterizations & Investigations
Geologic Sampling Protocols, Techniques & Methods
