Registration will open on January 8, 2007 for the Spring semester.
Because a minimum number of registrants is required to financially
justify each course offering, course start dates depend, in part,
on the number of people in the process of arranging financial support
for the course. The target start date is Tuesday,
January 16, 2007.

Tuesdays & Thursdays: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm; Saturdays: 8:00 am
- Noon+ Location: Institute of Environmental Technology, 2537 South
Gessner, (near Westheimer) Houston, Texas.

The regular fee for the Introduction to Environmental Technology
course is $ 1,995.00 which includes all course materials (texts,
handouts and field-trip fees, but not meals). Coffee is served.
The course fee per lecture hour of the IET program is well below
that of other seminars and workshops, and is a near-break-even proposition
for the underwriters sponsoring the program. The fee per-lecture-hour
for the IET program is approximately $11.00 compared to most others
which are more than $25.00 per lecture hour. The Guest Lecturers
of the Institute, senior environmental professionals in the Houston
area, provide their lectures on a pro-bono basis.

The course schedule is designed to present technical subjects in
certain sequences during the course. However, because a few of the
approximately 25 senior environmental professionals who lecture
during the course may have scheduling conflicts due to company responsibilities,
the schedule will be adjusted to accommodate the lecturers' schedules.

Funding by various state and federal agencies may be available for
qualified unemployed individuals under the Title
III, Displaced Worker Program under the supervision of Houston
Works. (See contact sources
for further information on the Title III program).

Course fees will be refunded in full if enrollment is canceled before
the second week of the semester begins. Refunds will not be issued
after the beginning of the second week of the semester. Refunds
for credit card payments will be processed as credits to the accounts
from which they were paid and may not appear as a credit until your
following monthly statement. Refunds for enrollments paid by cash
or check will require a few weeks to be processed.

on Additional Course
Announcements.
